Keeping the body moving has many positive effects as it helps to relieve stress, improve memory, and is generally a mood booster.
Some days you may not want to leave the house, other times you may feel good enough to go further afield, but it's important to find an activity that suits you.
Walking is the simplest form of exercise and you can walk around your room or even around the block! Click above to feel inspired by my walking website of Dartmoor National Park.
If you're not very active, then perhaps something like gardening would suit you? I put some butterfly friendly flowers in a couple of pots and love watching them grow, and watching the butterflies. Click here for butterfly-friendly plants.
If feels lovely and refreshing to have a shower or relaxing bath, and pampering is about creating some 'me' time for yourself to practice some self care.
This could be a new bath oil, or painting your nails, or treating your hair with a special conditioner. However you want to pamper yourself, then set aside a regular time each week to do this.
